Kazune Koyama is a Netherlands-based music facilitator from Japan who began improvising with the piano and composition right after he was born. He graduated from AMVOX (Tokyo, Japan) Composition/Arrangement Course and Koyo Conservatory (Nagoya, Japan) Jazz Piano Course. After his career as a musician and a composer, he started organising workshops to design and make acoustic musical instruments and sheet music from scratch and create a song without any knowledge and skill in music (Invent Music), a workshop using a system "Miohata" that produces sound samples from common objects rhythmically while recognising objects on a table, a hands-on lecture on sound (Sound Academy), a workshop to walk through nature or a city centre while listening to the sounds of the place (Earwalk), based on "Neutral Music Concept" which is aimed at exploring spontaneous and potential sense of music that human being has. He is also working on algorhythms that non-human generates music in order to embody a new domain of music, such as "Binaryosphere", a system to listen to a virtual ecosystem, and virtual musician that interacts and improvises with human.
